Account Executive, Integrated Marketing

The Quell Group, a strategic branding and market communications agency in Troy, Michigan, seeks a talented marketing and public relations account executive to help drive engagement for our clients’ products, technologies and services. From health care and professional services to automotive and tech, our talented new team member can expect to support the implementation of innovative integrated brand marketing strategies through compelling storytelling.

Core Responsibilities
As a member of Quell’s brand communications team, you’ll be directly responsible for:

  • Planning and implementing integrated marketing communications using various communication channels. including PR, digital/social media, advertising and more.
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) who understands how to frame a clear, concise and compelling message.
  • Developing engaging content for websites, press releases, feature articles, case studies, media materials, social media posts and blogs.
  • Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients, internal teams and external partners.
  • Coordinating and executing comprehensive branding, marketing, PR, social media, promotion, product and event marketing campaigns.
  • Converting insights into creative, actionable recommendations that achieve results.
  • Collaborating with creative services to develop engaging visual content across various mediums, from project inception through production.
  • Engaging in strategic messaging and content planning sessions with a point of view.
  • Managing client reports, strategy documents, presentations and post-campaign reports.

This position calls for a well-rounded marketing professional who can manage multiple projects across a variety of industries and mediums.

  • Strong writing (AP Style), problem-solving and creativity know-how to executive campaigns.
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) who understands how to frame a clear, concise and compelling message to internal and external audiences.
  • Experienced with paid, earned or shared media for traditional, digital and social media campaigns.
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts and distill information.
  • Demonstrated history of initiative and follow-through and ability to meet deadlines working with other agency departments.
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing communications.
  • Previous agency experience representing B2B clients preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, social or digital communications preferred.
