Eric McCahill Joins The Quell Group as Digital Marketing Strategist and Account Executive

New Quell Digital Marketing Strategist, Eric McCahill

Troy, Michigan. – October 8, 2019 – The Quell Group announced today their hire of Eric McCahill as Account Executive and Digital Marketing Strategist. The Michigan-based marketing firm specializes in branding and positioning clients to be leaders in their respective fields. Eric’s digital marketing background and expertise will have him adding value to nearly all of the agency’s accounts.

It has been a smooth journey for Eric, joining Quell from the corporate B2B side of things. Having worked on a full spectrum of digital marketing disciplines in the past has made his transition to agency work rather easy.

Previous experiences include Digital Marketing Specialist for Atlas Copco, a global industrial equipment manufacturer, as well as Marketing Coordinator and Webmaster for Corrosion Fluid Products, a distributor of fluid handling products. Eric’s responsibilities included website content management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Management (SEM), social media, marketing automation and other internal digital resources. Eric has a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Advertising from Wayne State University.

Eric is no exception, referencing the art world and digital media as some of his main sources of creative inspiration:

“I enjoy and admire art very much. The artists are equally as interesting as the art itself, sometimes more! Andy Warhol is who I identify with the most; the way he worked the silkscreens, sometimes with the help of assistants. I may not have the best hand on a brush or pen, but I can convey an idea to a “real” artist, like our creative team. Their work is incredible, and to have easy access to super high quality artwork and illustrations is something I’ve never been this close to. I can’t wait to see what we come up with for clients!” – McCahill

While agencies are known for creating art for their clients, there is also an art to portraying companies and their messages in various digital media and channels. Quell’s president and CEO, Mike Niederquell, is excited about their new talent acquisition. Adding to their existing digital team was a high priority and is certainly not the last step in the growth of the company. Niederquell noted Eric’s energy and enthusiasm during the recruiting process – qualities that transcend industries and client types.
